Call her the bug whisperer. This little lady bug navigated his way around her fingers and hand for upwards of 15 minutes before finally flying off into the sunset. He explored every finger with due diligence. Afterwards I wondered, why didn’t he fly away sooner? Maybe she smelled good to him, like a musky, buggy odor. Maybe she had excessive static cling and he couldn’t break free to fly away. Or perhaps he had the runs, so he went about making each fingertip into his own personal outhouse. Do ladybugs poop? Google says yes they do… ewwwww. This picture was taken with my dainty little droid x in macro mode. I did some minimal editing, cropped a little and added a vignette with picasa to produce the result you see above.
