Meteor shower. Tonight was fish tank maintenance night. Although I didn’t get much of it done, other than cleaning the glass, becuse I started taking pictures… This is a macro shot of a cyphastrea, aka meteor shower, an aptly named coral. Thanks to the extreme close up nature of the macro photo, It looks like something a mars rover should be exploring rather than something you would find sitting in my dining room. Unfortunately its polyps are a bit closed up due to the close proximity glass cleaning that preceded this photo, but you get the idea.
